Sonia loves her some great travel products and today she reviews an alternative for people searching for especially light weight luggage for their travels.
IT Luggage:

Why are all the luggage review videos so crappy? They act like they need to be a character. Just tell me about the damn product.
forget the weight! is it DURABLE?????
Very good
I have used the It luggage suitcase on my trip to Greece last summer, my boyfriend got me the suitcase for my birthday, and I absolutely love it, it is beautiful, lightweight, and stylish as mine is cobalt blue <3 Mine is durable I would say, but to each their own in packing styles.
I have this luggage it’s amazing it’s been from uk to Mexico uk to turkey and uk Belgium still going strong
If there were comparisons and experiments in this video, I missed it.
Did I miss something, where is the review part of the review? The only thing in the video is the weight. That is clearly listed online and on the package. I want to know details about performance, how it packs, and travels.
It would be interesting to know a little bit more about this suitcase for those who don’t know that brand. Thank you.
Hi, sometimes I use two black trash-bags to hold all my items. It’s really light.
I recently bought a Carlton Vlite spinner carryon. It weighs 1.9kg and is within IATA size regulations. While the IT carryons look a little flimsy (I haven’t used them, so I’m not really sure), the Carlton is strong enough to survive being stuffed into overheads on domestic and international flights without nary a tear, and being dragged around on polished, carpeted and rocky mud roads. It took it all without complaint. Packing as I did for a wedding on one occasion, I was surprised at how much I could fit in, even when working my dayclothes around my bulky formal garments.
(Sorry for the rant. I just never see Carlton luggage anywhere online, so I thought I might as well start 🙂 )
Great video as always. Just one thing, don forget the international system of units next time 😉
Sonia, when I see the words "product review" I expect to see more than just how much they weigh. 😛
May you do a review about fugu luggage?
By far my favorite travel expert. Or Travel afficianado.

The wheels are not very smooth.. In my opinion.and the dont have 4 , only 2.
I have the carry on and I have used it at least 6 times and there is no sign of wear apart from the wheels
I have the carry on bag. It is nice, no damage in the fabric but the weels are now in a state that they can break off at any moment. Used it a lot as a student traveling back to my parents every week. Really light!
I have found Lipault to be light and excellent and you can pack A LOT
Why is the video early this time Sonia?
This brand is amazing! I’ve had the bag for about 3 years, it has been through 2 world trips and many holidays. and has carried 25 KGS in it. On a side note, the handle freaked me out because it doesn’t feel strong, although it hasn’t ripped yet, but it has stretched a little.
Gorgeous. I mean the luggage.
How did you buy this in the US or Canada? I couldnt find it outside of Europe.
What luggage brand do you recommend as the most durable?
For being a "product review" video, it was total shit.
You have a beautiful face though.
Sonia, you need to try Tom Bihn’s Aeronaut 45. Made in USA, 45 liter bag with no wheels to get stuck on cobblestone streets, snow, etc. Fits in a Canadair regional jet too.
I purchase 2 of (30") these luggages and yes they are super light and spacious but I don’t feel like if they’re too durable. I did have to exchange one because the IT logo fell off after a 2 hr flight back home. For our recent trip to Japan they were not to convenient. We took the metro and with all those stairs, it was a headache. Definitely not durable. Thinking of returning them.
I just bought the 22" carry one. It looks flimsy, especially the wheels. I keep my fingers crossed. I will use it for my 21 days trip to Japan where I need to move from city to city. I will find whether it is strong and durable.
I just saw that brand at the store and was wondering if they were actually worth the hype!!!
whats with the "sitting at home on my sofa" travel luggage reviews?! Show me the luggage at the airport after a flight. Otherwise I can go to a shop and see the damn thing for myself.
Great review. Thanks for sharing; Jesus Christ Bless! 😉
Useless!!
I have the red carry on it bag. Got it in a beautiful cherry red color at tj maxx. I love it. Super light weight, easily fits under the seat in front of you or in the over head compartments. Yes the material feels flimsy, but I have yet to have a problem with it. Also, the wheels are very quiet when rolling around. If I had any complaint, it would be tht the handle bar is quite a tight squeeze when lowered. Not easy to pull up one handed. I’ve had to use my knee to help pull it out. Otherwise, I love it.
I have used the IT luggage full size for a few trips. It looks flimsy but is not. You will not have any problems packing this bag full and going over the limit on weight. It is very easy to over pack the bag and have to pay an overweight fee. I travel with some video equipment and the light stands I packed on my last trips caused some burn holes in the material at the bottom and back. No damage just that I have a few small holes. I have not flown with them since but for road trips they have been great. I would suggest putting heels and over hard pointy items in the middle of the case. I want to get the same style IT in a carry-on size. I am sure it will be easy to pack and last much longer. Just looking for one with four wheels to roll down the isle.😀
I use IT Luggage and it’s pretty tough
I love your videos but they are way too short!
¿Cuál es la ventaja de una maleta de "tapa dura" a un de tela?
The lightest luggage in the world? LOL. The hubby just packs it in a box and ties it together with rope. We’ve never had any problems going through security on international flights. Granted, all of my stuff fits into a carton duffel bag and a purse. I’m a light traveler. Most of our checked luggages are gifts for his family.
Hola Sonia! Realmente has usado esta maleta, los comentarios en Amazon son 50/50 me da miedo!!!! Dime si ya la has usado
I highly recommend the Roxy (and Quiksilver, I suppose) luggage – I’ve had the medium size one for eight years now (gawd) and it’s held up really well, and I just got the carry-on this summer. Love it.
Samsonite lite-locked!
Is there a tip to hide sun tan lines or prevent them?
I’ve dropped here just to say hello.
Hello (hola) 😉
You got some sun… lol I can almost tell what sunglasses you were wearing.
I have an IT luggage and its pretty durable. Tho I will say I did use one strap on it, it held up completely fine and I got to pack that extra pair of cloths. I went touring in Europe with the IT luggage(which I had to bring the IT luggage EVERYWHERE I went) and it held up with my rough handling and the baggage people. Over all I would totally recommend the IT luggage.
The super light luggage I use, is from DELSEY .. their carry on is a little below 2 Kg. (below 4 pounds) & they’re guaranteed for 5 years!
Sonia I am going from brazil in december to Paris! That means that I am going from a hot summer to a cold winter! How should I dress so I can be comfortable? I will stop at Lisbon! Please help
my family and i went to the philippines and back from new zealand with side trip to singapore (just me and hubby)… and i love the 4 wheeler carry on of the it luggage! like you said, weight was my main concern as they weigh the carry on as well to just 7kg =( as having 2 kids ( 2yo and 3 month old then) and trying to downsize the number of bags we carried to just a baby bag and carry on, i loved it as we can carry more for my family and still have more weight space!
We have 2 IT carry ones and we love them. My 17 yr old daughter took hers to Poland and other countries and she is hard on things.
Your lipstick color is sooo beautiful, do you remember its name?
