Japan Travel Diary Flipthrough + 2018 Travel Supplies & Set-Up / thechronicdiarist

In past years, I’ve attempted a hybrid sketch-and-writing type of journal, I’ve tried ephemera and photos only… my travel journal style is forever evolving! This month, my husband and I are headed to Singapore and Koh Samui, and once again, I’ll be trying a few new things with my journal set-up. I want to be looser and freer with my sketches – which is why I’ve got two pocket sketchbooks, as well as a standard sized Midori insert. I also want to have the freedom to write without worrying about running out of space, so I’ve decided to separate the writing and sketching/ephemera components of my journal. It’s my first year trying this kind of system; hopefully it goes well!

Amazing journal! What a treasure 😍 I’ve been really enjoying your channel. You give me so much Hobonichi and traveler’s notebook inspiration. I post Hobonichi flipthroughs but I want to start sharing my traveler’s notebook (although I don’t actually travel 😩)
