The Sony A7 is great camera, though by definition a MIRRORLESS camera like the A7 is not a DSLR (digital single-lens REFLEX) camera. Makes me question the accuracy of the rest of your recomandations.

  5. Cameron Ottosen on June 21, 2018 at 12:30 am

Which apsc sony lens would you recommend for travel vlogging/photography?

  6. NoMadMan on June 21, 2018 at 12:32 am

Awesome tips guys! Really wanting to get my hands on a Sony alpha 7r iii and a GoPro hero 6.

  7. Richère Trudeau on June 21, 2018 at 12:34 am

I was trying to find the SONY RX1001V at 300$ less than the V but realized that they go for almost the same price 🙁 . Still a really great video. Thank you for sharing xx

  8. wetsockssuck on June 21, 2018 at 12:38 am

Good vid but that Lacie drive is not a solid state. They only make up to 1tb in SSD

  9. Mehdi _, on June 21, 2018 at 12:38 am

4 years of shooting with a Sony Camera. Calls it a DSLR .

  10. Henry and Shay on June 21, 2018 at 12:42 am

Love your content! It would mean the world if you checked out our latest adventure video and left your feedback 🙂

  11. jatin sharma on June 21, 2018 at 12:46 am

I learn so much from you guys!

  12. Michał Bielawski on June 21, 2018 at 12:47 am

If only you were hal accurate with what you say… Sony Alphas are not DSLRs. The small cards are MICRO SD, not MINI SD. The Lacie hard drive is not a solid state. It has moving parts. Jeez, guys. Do your homework before you record a video…

  13. johny wijaya on June 21, 2018 at 12:48 am

Lol, that’s too much gear. I only use smartphone.

  18. The Wanderlist on June 21, 2018 at 12:51 am

Good advice, thats almost similar to what I carry with me when going to shoot my travel videos somewhere!

  20. Luka Čuk on June 21, 2018 at 12:53 am

  22. Mariusz Morawski on June 21, 2018 at 12:57 am

  24. Gideon John on June 21, 2018 at 1:00 am

    Great content!

  25. Mauvis Ledford on June 21, 2018 at 1:00 am

Vega brothers, your sound in this ep is not that amazing. Were you using the shotgun mic in this one or onboard mic on Sony rx100?

  26. Simple Frankie on June 21, 2018 at 1:02 am

    Canon 80d or sony a6300

  27. Esmeralda Nava on June 21, 2018 at 1:04 am

For beginners do u recommend the sony?

  28. MiLOMihai O on June 21, 2018 at 1:05 am

I have a cannon 750D lens 18-55mm mic Rode and Manfrotto…my question what lens you recommend to me

  29. Nik Of All Trades on June 21, 2018 at 1:05 am

I got the Sony RX100 V before my current trip and it was a great purchase! I also have the GoPro Hero 5 and Karma Grip. Hero 5 is great but not seeing the screen when using the grip is super annoying. I might elect for a different Gimbal when I get home

  30. Chase Everett on June 21, 2018 at 1:09 am

what software do you edit your videos with?

  31. I Am MattyB on June 21, 2018 at 1:10 am

I made a playlist for my Bali Vlogs series. Some crazy edits in there of hiking a volcano, snapping a surfboard in half, crashing a motorbike and a whole bunch of 4K drone footage – check ’em out

  32. John Leon-Guerrero on June 21, 2018 at 1:11 am

Gnarbox only supports FAT32 (massive fail) not NTFS and RAID 1 is called drive mirroring.

  33. celebralbore on June 21, 2018 at 1:11 am

I love your videos so much! I have a Canon 100D for now, because I am not wealthy enough to get something better and I mostly do photos only, but I think with a okay-ish microphone, I could also start vlogging. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  34. Schwell Life on June 21, 2018 at 1:12 am

Hi Guys, where do you get the music for your videos from?

  35. Brandon Chapin on June 21, 2018 at 1:12 am

Thanks for sharing all this great info!

  36. Tiffa Cakes on June 21, 2018 at 1:13 am

Going to be backpacking through Europe end of May 2018. I have the mavic pro and would love to take it with me, but being a solo female traveler makes me a bit nervous. Would you recommend me leaving it home since I’ll be by myself? Heard a lot of stories about theft, especially for solo travelers.

  37. Sh3lby on June 21, 2018 at 1:14 am

Did you guys use the Sony rx100V in this video as well??

  38. Omar Barriga on June 21, 2018 at 1:15 am

Best travel backpacks that carry this kit, plus say other travel necessities (ie. sweaters, waterbotels, things you buy in a day)

  39. Matthew Johnson on June 21, 2018 at 1:15 am

For action cams, the Sony FDR-X3000 is phenomenal. Built in optical image stabilization and the image quality is just better than the Hero 5 and probably the Hero 6. (you can correct the colors from a GoPro after the fact to make up the gap… but stabilizing is digital, which crops the image)

  40. Good Z rest on June 21, 2018 at 1:15 am

Did you both get married yet ? I could film it for you. 😎

  41. Alex Cobweb on June 21, 2018 at 1:16 am

Just wanted to quote: "In the meantime, remember: stay curious, keep exploring, and we will see you on the road! Peace…"

I came across your review of camera bags, and ended up watching 5+ videos. Amazing content. Subscribed.

Needing a waterproof camera for sting rays in the caymans. Any ideas?

  44. Blazing Trails on June 21, 2018 at 1:16 am

Right now, I’m using a Canon Rebel XTI and a Nikon Coolpix. I’m just starting off the travel vlogging thing while in school full time, so I don’t really have a lot of available funds to throw around. I’m also utilizing my phone for better video than my point and shoot.

I’ve been watching a lot of your "list" videos. I’ve added a few pieces of hardware to my wishlist, so thanks for that!!

  45. Mitchell Stapleton on June 21, 2018 at 1:17 am

Hey just wondering about lens recommendations?

  46. The Chiang Gang on June 21, 2018 at 1:18 am

Hey guys, Great content! How do you all pack it all? We are planning to backpack with Osprey Farpoint 70 but squeezing it all in the daypack seems limited. Whats a good recommendation to crack this nut? I have a camera backpack but just seems like too many bags at this point.

  47. goodolecowboy13 on June 21, 2018 at 1:18 am

I’m getting back into photography again with all my traveling, this is an awesome video. I’m glad I stumbled across your guys stuff! Appreciate all the info, cheers and safe travels!
