Word of the day, “capable”.
I’ve been looking for a video like this and I just stumbled upon this one! Great video and thank you for this new knowledge! 🙂
Thx love your videos :*
The Sony A7 is great camera, though by definition a MIRRORLESS camera like the A7 is not a DSLR (digital single-lens REFLEX) camera. Makes me question the accuracy of the rest of your recomandations.
Which apsc sony lens would you recommend for travel vlogging/photography?
Awesome tips guys! Really wanting to get my hands on a Sony alpha 7r iii and a GoPro hero 6.
I was trying to find the SONY RX1001V at 300$ less than the V but realized that they go for almost the same price 🙁 . Still a really great video. Thank you for sharing xx
Good vid but that Lacie drive is not a solid state. They only make up to 1tb in SSD
4 years of shooting with a Sony Camera. Calls it a DSLR .
Love your content! It would mean the world if you checked out our latest adventure video and left your feedback 🙂
I learn so much from you guys!
If only you were hal accurate with what you say… Sony Alphas are not DSLRs. The small cards are MICRO SD, not MINI SD. The Lacie hard drive is not a solid state. It has moving parts. Jeez, guys. Do your homework before you record a video…
Lol, that’s too much gear. I only use smartphone.
😍🤟🏽🤟🏽
Why Not a6000 for start
I have a Coolpix l830 which does not have a mic attachment option what should I do?
Great video! We’re going to Bali next and this video really inspire for my own vlogs! 🙌
Great information! We are amateur vloggers just about to head to Europe for 3 weeks and want to make sure we have all the gear we need!
Good advice, thats almost similar to what I carry with me when going to shoot my travel videos somewhere!
Hero 6 & some attachemments. Thats all
Is a shotgun mic on a gimbal with a go pro possible and or advisable?
if there is any problem with traveling with tripod ? special when I have only hand luggage :???
Great video guys! Can you back up the Gnarbox to the Lacie HDD?
Great content!
Vega brothers, your sound in this ep is not that amazing. Were you using the shotgun mic in this one or onboard mic on Sony rx100?
Canon 80d or sony a6300
For beginners do u recommend the sony?
I have a cannon 750D lens 18-55mm mic Rode and Manfrotto…my question what lens you recommend to me
I got the Sony RX100 V before my current trip and it was a great purchase! I also have the GoPro Hero 5 and Karma Grip. Hero 5 is great but not seeing the screen when using the grip is super annoying. I might elect for a different Gimbal when I get home
what software do you edit your videos with?
I made a playlist for my Bali Vlogs series. Some crazy edits in there of hiking a volcano, snapping a surfboard in half, crashing a motorbike and a whole bunch of 4K drone footage – check ’em out https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8BFQ-LkxKONFB3zvD257_zTv-IHMhLa7
Gnarbox only supports FAT32 (massive fail) not NTFS and RAID 1 is called drive mirroring.
I love your videos so much! I have a Canon 100D for now, because I am not wealthy enough to get something better and I mostly do photos only, but I think with a okay-ish microphone, I could also start vlogging. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Hi Guys, where do you get the music for your videos from?
Thanks for sharing all this great info!
Going to be backpacking through Europe end of May 2018. I have the mavic pro and would love to take it with me, but being a solo female traveler makes me a bit nervous. Would you recommend me leaving it home since I’ll be by myself? Heard a lot of stories about theft, especially for solo travelers.
Did you guys use the Sony rx100V in this video as well??
Best travel backpacks that carry this kit, plus say other travel necessities (ie. sweaters, waterbotels, things you buy in a day)
For action cams, the Sony FDR-X3000 is phenomenal. Built in optical image stabilization and the image quality is just better than the Hero 5 and probably the Hero 6. (you can correct the colors from a GoPro after the fact to make up the gap… but stabilizing is digital, which crops the image)
Did you both get married yet ? I could film it for you. 😎
Just wanted to quote: "In the meantime, remember: stay curious, keep exploring, and we will see you on the road! Peace…"
I came across your review of camera bags, and ended up watching 5+ videos. Amazing content. Subscribed.
Needing a waterproof camera for sting rays in the caymans. Any ideas?
Right now, I’m using a Canon Rebel XTI and a Nikon Coolpix. I’m just starting off the travel vlogging thing while in school full time, so I don’t really have a lot of available funds to throw around. I’m also utilizing my phone for better video than my point and shoot.
I’ve been watching a lot of your "list" videos. I’ve added a few pieces of hardware to my wishlist, so thanks for that!!
Hey just wondering about lens recommendations?
Hey guys, Great content! How do you all pack it all? We are planning to backpack with Osprey Farpoint 70 but squeezing it all in the daypack seems limited. Whats a good recommendation to crack this nut? I have a camera backpack but just seems like too many bags at this point.
I’m getting back into photography again with all my traveling, this is an awesome video. I’m glad I stumbled across your guys stuff! Appreciate all the info, cheers and safe travels!
I wish i had a brother…
Sonys aren’t DSLR
Polo..
