You are a super-woman. So strong and you do all of this work for us. All of us are thankful to you and we pray that you will become rich soon and hire a team.

@GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa Which camera do you prefer between the G&X & NEX5T?

  3. Soul Guru on July 31, 2018 at 10:09 am

Thank you for this video! Do you think for a beginner travel vlogger I can get away with just a cannon g7? Do you also have a mic for it? And what tripod would you recommend for a g7? OR is it worth getting a 2 year old DSLR if I can only have one camera plus my iPhone 6?

Super appreciate your help! I am rooting for your! Keep it up!

With your camera’s how do you deal with camera shake on your video’s you do. I bought a gimbal for my gopro but I would prefer something like the Canon G7X I have a dedicated video camera the sony ax33 with image stabilization but its bulky. Anyway just interested on how you deal with it. Enjoy your vlogs. Greg from Australia.

I got a DSLR in hopes of improving the quality of my photos when I travel, but it’s so much heavier to carry than I initially thought! I can’t imagine carrying all of that extra stuff! D=

Hi!! Your videos are great! I’m traveling to 11 months and I’ll be doing blogging & videoing documentary-like content. Would you recommend getting the Sony NEX-5T or biting the bullet to buy the more expensive Canon GX7? Also thinking about getting a refurbished Canon GX7 for a cheaper price. Thoughts?? I thought I would ask because you use both!

  13. Hey Gwen on July 31, 2018 at 10:22 am

that’s a loooot of gear. i’m thinking of replacing my dslr with a mirrorless camera just because I think its lighter. And you get to carry all these everywhere? Wow!

When do you edit? Say if you are on a 9 day trip you begin editing while on trip?

  15. Ana's DaringAdventures on July 31, 2018 at 10:31 am

What’s a card reader? Honestly I never believed in backup gear until I went to Italy and my vlogging camera broke…I lost half a day trying to get it fixed (& crying). I ended up vlogging the rest of my trip on my phone 🙁

I am amazed how well my ancient, busted screen Samsung (Note 2) still works, holding massive amounts of photos and music while I see storage/power stress happen to iphone owners I know…I like Macs but this is just my experience..

  22. Tabitha Laker on July 31, 2018 at 10:41 am

Wow that’s a lot of stuff! Do you keep original video footage? or delete once the video is edited?

  23. Vinayak Garg on July 31, 2018 at 10:46 am

Do you know any option to offload memory card directly onto hard disk without needing computer?
